Terms and Conditions for Floyds Office Furniture

1. General

When you place an order with us, a contract is formed based on these Terms and Conditions. They override any terms you propose unless our authorized signatory agrees in writing before services are performed.

2. Prices

The invoiced prices are those charged at the date of dispatch. Although we strive to ensure website prices are accurate, errors can occur. If a pricing error happens, we will notify you and offer the correct price or the option to cancel. All prices include VAT. Packaging is non-returnable.

3. Payment Terms

  • 3.1 Full payment is required for the goods. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
  • 3.2 Charges include VAT at 20% and are invoiced from the UK.
  • 3.3 Notify us of any invoice or delivery discrepancies within 7 days for corrective action.

4. Delivery Times

  • 4.1 Delivery times are estimates and non-binding. We are not liable for losses due to delivery delays.
  • 4.2 Ensure the delivery address you provide is accurate.
  • 4.3 You assume ownership of the goods when we dispatch them to you.
  • 4.4 We may make partial deliveries.

5. Guarantee

  • 5.1 Our furniture comes with a five-year guarantee against defects from faulty materials or workmanship.
  • 5.2 Our seating is guaranteed for 2 to 5 years, excluding fair wear and tear, subject to proper use, care, and maintenance. Please check the product page for specific guarantees.

6. Returns

  • 6.1 Returns are accepted for credit only with our permission. Under certain circumstances, we may refuse returns.
  • 6.2 Goods must be returned in original packaging, unused, unassembled, and in resalable condition. You bear the return cost and risk until we receive the goods. Proof of return delivery is required. We may charge for incomplete returns, orders placed in error, or items not wanted.
  • 6.3 Custom-made goods cannot be returned.
  • 6.4 Ensure goods fit into the required space. We do not accept responsibility for returns due to size issues. We may alter or replace goods to fit, but custom items can only be altered or replaced, not returned. Extra costs may apply unless we are at fault.
  • 6.5 Sizes and measurements are approximate and may vary slightly once manufactured. Consider this when checking sizes or request more accurate measurements.
  • 6.6 Without affecting your statutory rights, we reserve the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 25% for items returned due to errors or unwanted orders. This fee and any damage deductions will be taken from refunds, which will be processed within 30 days of receipt of goods.

7. Miscellaneous

  • 7.1 These Terms and Conditions represent a complete statement of all terms for our services, replacing all previous terms.
  • 7.2 We may amend these Terms and Conditions by sending updates to you. These will apply to all orders placed after you receive them (deemed two days after posting).
  • 7.3 Failure to exercise any rights under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

8. Law

These Terms and Conditions and any contract including them are governed by English law. The English Courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
