Guarantee
All our products carry a 5 year component guarantee as standard, unless where indicated. All upholstery is guaranteed for 2 years. Our standard component guarantee applies when the product has been used for the purpose intended and under normal conditions. Replacements necessitated by normal wear and tear, accident, improper care or use, negligence, or a natural breakdown of colours and materials over extended time and use, are not covered .
Returns
All returns are accepted at the discretion of Floyds Office Equipment Ltd and under certain circumstances we reserve the right to refuse returns. We reserve the right to charge for returned goods that have been ordered in error or are no longer required. Any goods that have been made to order cannot be returned.
DELIVERY TERMS
Once you have placed your order and it has been confirmed we will either call or email you to arrange a delivery date but we cannot give a specific time. If stock is unavailable then obviously the delivery time will take longer, if this is the case we will call or email you as soon as possible.
Please note: As with any delivery service various unknown problems can occur. So if we do not make the estimated delivery time and for any reason due to unforeseen problems, which are out of our control we cannot be held responsible for compensation.
If an unknown problem does occur with your estimated delivery day. We will contact you and inform you of the situation. Then we will give you an alternative estimated delivery day.
Delivery charges vary according to the location.
We are only able to deliver to addresses in mainland United Kingdom, this excludes the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scottish Isles, parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Isles.
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify. It is important that this address is accurate. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence).
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by credit transfer, BACS or cheque( Please allow an additional 5-7 working days for your cheque to clear).
Payment terms
We will charge your credit account for payment upon receipt of your order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account, then we can cancel the contract and or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.
Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Ownership
You become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Risk
Once the goods have been delivered you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.
Faulty Goods
All damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of goods . We will then rectify as soon as possible.
Returned Goods
Goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, unassembled and in a resaleable condition. A credit cannot be given for goods returned damaged. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return carriage of all goods returned.
We reserve the right to charge for returned goods that have been ordered in error or are no longer required.
Goods to be returned will be collected and we reserve the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 25% of the value for items returned when orders were placed in error or not wanted. This will be deducted from any refund. Goods to be returned must be kept safe and secure until they are collected . Any damage to the Goods will be deducted from any refund plus the minimum handling fee .
